Who can attend?

CleanScene is a FREE trade only event. Entry is restricted to bonafide members of the hygiene, cleaning and safety industries and over the age of 16.A

Some examples of who should attend are:
Facility Managers, Health & Safety Managers, CEO's, Directors, Owners, Purchasing Officers, Project Managers, Site Managers, Maintenance/Operations Managers, Training Managers, Warehouse Managers, Building & Property Maintenance & Management, Contract Cleaners, Education and Government Agencies.

Business ID may be required upon entry eg. Business card, letterhead or company documentation containing your company ABN. You may also be asked for personal identification such as a drivers licence to substantiate your identification. 

Those not involved in the hygiene, cleaning and safety industries will not be admitted. Selling or promotion of products/services to exhibitors is not permitted. No photography or sketching permitted. Students will not be registered.

Do I need to register for the Expo?

Yes, all trade visitors must register for the Expo. You may register online or you can register by completing the registration form attached to the Trade Invitations.

Trade Invitations will be distributed in February 2011.  If you do not receive it call +613 9654 7773 to request one. Alternatively you can register for the Expo when you arrive, however to avoid queues we recommend you pre-register.

What happens when I register?

If you register online you will receive an email confirmation that gives you a summary of your registered details as well as your unique registration identification number. Your Visitor Access Card will be mailed directly to you 3 weeks prior to the Expo.

If you fax your registration, your registration will be processed and your Visitor Access Card mailed directly to you 3 weeks prior to the Expo.

All Visitor Access Cards will commence being mailed from mid March 2011. If you do not receive your Visitor Access Card before the Expo, you can collect it from the onsite registration desk located near the entrance to the Expo.

Note that the Organiser reserves the right to cancel invalid registrations to ensure that entry is limited to bonafide trade visitors.

 

Can I change my registration details or check my details?

Yes. If you need to check what details have been registered please telephone the Organiser, Australian Exhibitions & Conferences Pty Ltd on tel +613 9654 7773. Your registration details can be altered onsite at the registration desk at the entrance to the Expo. You won't need to complete another registration form, simply present you Visitor Access Card & business identification at the counter.

When can I expect my Visitor Access Card?

Visitor Access Cards will be mailed from 3 weeks before the Expo.

If your Visitor Access Card does not arrive prior to the Expo you can collect it from the Visitor Registration Desk at the entrance to the Expo.

What if the name or company on my Visitor Access Card is not correct?

If your Visitor Access Card contains incorrect information bring it along to the registration desk at the entrance to the Expo where the we can print a new card for you on the spot at no charge.

What if I forget my Visitor Access Card?

Registered visitors may obtain a replacement Visitor Access Card at the registration desk, at the entrance to the Expo without filling out another registration form. You will already be on our database. Just bring business identification with you.

What do I need to bring as business identification?

Relevant identification includes: business card, letterhead or company documentation containing your company details. You may also be asked for personal identification such as a drivers license to substantiate your identification.

Can students attend?

Tertiary students or registered apprentices in a relevant field may attend the Expo on Thursday 7 April 2011 if they have appropriate student identification. Any groups larger than 6 students must apply in writing to the Organiser, including details of the Institution, Course, intended attendance time and number of students for approval. Email cleanscene@aec.net.au

Students should not register to attend, but simply present their student identification at the registration desk at the entrance to the Expo.

Can I bring my family to have a look?

This is a business event and entry is restricted to trade only. Children under 16 may attend free of charge if accompanied by an adult at all times. There are no child minding facilities available at the venue.

Will there be any special events?

Yes. There are also a number of sub-events taking place during CleanScene including an interactive demonstration area, an external demonstration area for carpet cleaning equipment, NCSA Seminars and the NUCCRA Conference.

Do I need a Visa to visit Australia?

Most International visitors to Australia will require a Visa to enter the country. For Government details on Visas visit Australian Government Immigration site at www.immi.gov.au

Remember if you need to make a Visa Application make sure you do so well in advance as there is usually a processing period involved.
