Research conducted by the Exhibition and Event Association of Australia confirms that exhibitions deliver. Below are some of their key findings:

MEET THE DECISION MAKERS:
83% of all visitors to a trade show have the authority to purchase or recommend product purchase
72% of trade show visitors intend to make a purchase either a the show or in the near future

WHY DO VISITORS ATTEND?
54% of visitors come specifically to see new products and services
48% of visitors come for information
40% of visitors come to keep up to date with technology
15% of visitors come to make new business contacts

RETURN ON INVESTMENT:
An average expenditure of 9% of companies' marketing budget was measured as returning 23% of business
